Jr. PROM

 Rachel had Jr. Prom last Saturday night.  She went with Taylor Ellis a boy in our ward.  Rachel has liked Taylor since the 9th grade so she was pretty EXCITED to go to this dance.  She had such a great time.  They ate dinner at Benihana's, went to the dance and after to Lowe's (a trampoline place in Provo).  They had a huge group so it was fun being with a bunch of her friends.  Taylor, Ben and Spencer all picked up Rachel, Ruth and Taylor D. at our house.  Of course we had to get a ton of pictures.  The all looked GORGEOUS.

TWENTY (20) YEARS BABY...

 Mike and I celebrated our "20" year anniversary on Friday, April 19th.  Where the heck has the time gone.  We were just 21 when we got married so we have almost been together as long as we were single...CRAZY! We spent the night up in Park City at The Shadow Ridge Resort.  We ate dinner at Baja Cantina and Saturday went to Will's soccer game, a movie (Oblivion) and Costco :) together.  I love Mike more and more every day.  I am so lucky to have him as my husband and what a great dad he is to our kids.  He truly is my BFF.  He still makes me laugh.  He has the wittiest personality and says some of the funniest things.  I love you Babe!  Bring on the next 20 years...

LIBBY GARDNER

 Rachel had her last Concert Choir performance at Libby Gardner last Monday night.  My mom, Mike, the kids and I all went and saw her perform.  It was a great performance.  Rachel said it was kind of sad being their last performance.  It only means her Junior year is quickly coming to a close :(

 

 

 

REFFING

Will reffed for the 1st time today.  It is weird to think Rachel and Jake both reffed for at least 1 year...Will is following in their footsteps :) He said it wasn't too bad.  He is excited to get his paycheck the middle of June!  I think he is a pretty cute ref :)

Spring Break ~LAS VEGAS~ Style

 We spent 4 nights and 5 days of spring break this year in LAS VEGAS!  We had such a great time hanging with our kids.  We stayed at Tahiti Village about 1/4 mile from the Premium outlet mall and about 1 mile off the strip. The resort had an awesome pool and kitchens in all the rooms...which made it nice to eat all our breakfasts and a few lunches in :)  We walked the strip, went to Coca Cola factory where we tried the Coke around the world (some of those flavors are NASTY), M and M factory (where they had a fun 3D movie), Sadie had her picture drawn, Jake and Will did the roller coaster at New York, New York, we saw the Bellagio fountain show, did the rides on the top of the Stratosphere (except me...my stomach was kind of queasy...plus who else is gonna take the pics :), shopped at the outlet mall (where Rachel found her dress, shoes and jewelry for Jr. prom), ate at a buffet (which was nasty), laid by the pool and soaked in some much needed sunrays, watched Sadie be part of a street performance, played Settlers and just had a great time being A FAMILY!!!
