EFY

Rachel just got back this morning from a week at EFY....she went to the Provo campus with her cousin Annie. They had such a great time and met some really fun kids. We really missed her. She was able to take her cell phone so that was nice for me because she called every night to update me one what they had done that day. She is growing up so quickly and really turning into a great young woman. I am so thankful for her testimony and love for the gospel.
Her counselor...Elise.There were "12" girls and "12" boys in her group. They spent all their time together.
(There were about 1200 kids on campus for EFY that week.)

Here are the "12" girls. These are the "6" girls she shared an apartment with. Here are "11" out of the "12" boys.
The cafeteria.
(Funny we noticed that Taylor and Ben from our ward that were also there but not in Rachel's group are standing in the background of this picture.)The Whole Group =)Good times!!!

We LOVE you Rachel!!! Thanks for being such a GREAT girl :)

Rachel wanted a long board this year for her birthday. Renan Jefferies was nice enough to make her one. I love the R.E.D. he put on it for her initials.Rachel had a swim birthday party this year for her birthday. She invited "32" girls and "28" came. It was so fun to get to hang out and watch these cute girls together. They are all so nice and seem to all get along. She didn't want pizza so we did croissant chicken salad sandwiches, vegetable tray, fruit tray, chips, brownies and drinks. It turned out really fun.

LOOK what we found in our back yard!!!

What a fun surprise to look out our back door and find this nest. These birds are very creative =) I just hope now the kids are home for summer that all the chaos in the house and yard don't scare the birds too much that the eggs can actually hatch. I will post a picture if they ever do. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

SCHOOL'S out for SUMMER =)

Jake had his "Patriotic 5th Grade Program" the last week of school. Parents were invited to come and listen to the kids sing patriotic songs and see a "5th" grade slide show. Jake was given Pennsylvania as his state to learn more about. He was very creative with the costume he made. The great thing is Mike helped him make his costume when I was in Sunvalley on my girls trip so I was quite surprised when I saw it at the assembly. I think they did a great job =)Jake and his 2 buddies.
Adam (cousin) and Ethan The awards assembly.
The "3rd" graders sang a song during the awards assembly.
Now bring on SUMMER BREAK!!!

CAPITOL REEF

Our 1st ADVENTURE in the new trailer was to Capitol Reef over Memorial Weekend with the Davies Family. We were there 3 nights and 3 days. What a good time. It is so fun spending time with the Davies. Our kids all get along so well and they have the same love for camping that we do. We had great fun exploring, eating and hanging out. The camp ground was full since it was the holiday weekend so we just camped off the road. The trailer was absolute heaven being able to have fresh water and a toilet.
Walking through the narrows. It's always fun catching lizards.Hickman Bridge.Petroglyphs.We found a waterfall to cool off.The girls.
The boys.
Lots of fun around the fire.
The kids climbed up this mountain at the base of our camp at least twice a day.Our camp.Diesel loved coming along... he was in heaven.
