Since Sadie's photo shoot turned out so well I asked Rachel if she would do the same thing with the boys. When I was at Sadie's dance performance at Skyline Monday night Rachel did a photo shoot with Will. I LOVE how the pictures turned out :)

BOOGIE SHOES
Sadie's jazz class was asked to perform their BOOGIE SHOES dance number at Skyline High School last night. Sadie was in absolute heaven. She LOVES to perform. It is such a cute dance and the girls all did a great job. Sadie can't wait for the recital :)
PINEWOOD DERBY
Will had his scouts pinewood derby last week. He had a great time getting his car ready with Mike. His car didn't do too well this year but, it didn't come in last either :) It is weird to think that we have no more pinewood derbies in our house to get ready for. In November Will turns 11 so he will no longer be a cub scout.

CONFERENCE SUNDAY
We were quite surprised when we woke up Conference morning and there was a ton of snow on the ground. Mike and the kids spent their time between conference sessions building 6 snowmen and a dog in the front yard. Rachel was the photographer and I supervised :) We are REALLY hoping this is our last snow storm.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Last week I celebrated my "39th" birthday. It was a great birthday week of celebrating. When I was in Chicago visiting Melanie Mike surprised me with a new leather couch he bought me for my birthday. It was so fun coming home to a new couch in my living room, and the awesome thing is he sold the old one on KSL while I was gone... I was SOOOO excited. I got my "2010" blog book in the mail just in time for my birthday and Mike surprised me while I was at the school when he walked in with a dozen roses.
What a great day =)

mmmm...

YOUNG WOMAN RECOGNITION
Rachel received her Young Woman Medallion on Sunday in church. She has been working so hard to get through all of her value projects. I am so proud of her since most people don't get this award until they are seniors in High school and getting ready to graduate. Way to go Rachel.
