CHRISTMAS AT THE NELSON'S
My dad made my mom a quilt this year for Christmas.  It was made up of 56 shirts from all of the marathons he has run.  It was so sweet.  She was super surprised and he was so excited to give it to her...
What a gift of LOVE :)
Fun opening presents with the Nelson's.

MERRY "2012" CHRISTMAS!!!

CHRISTMAS EVE

Once again we bowled on Christmas Eve Day with the Nelson Clan I mean after all it is...TRADITION.  Everyone was there but Mel and Brad who spent Christmas in Illinois ;( They had their own bowling day there with friends. (Way to go Mel for keeping up the tradition even though you were away.)  The kids LOVE spending time with their cousins and the adults don't have too bad of a time hanging out together either.  Another fun bowling day was a SUCCESS!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

It is crazy how fast Christmas has come and tomorrow it will be over :(  Buddy our elf came and visited us again this year.  It was fun having him here the month of December.  We woke up this morning to this note he left:

SANTA at TROLLEY SQUARE

One of our Christmas Traditions is going to Trolly Square and visiting Santa and then after we eat at Spaghetti Factory.  Our kids were so great.  They will still sit on Santa's lap and talk to him and tell him what they want.  This particular Santa was SOOOOO sweet.  He just radiated happiness and was Super friendly.  I still BELIEVE:)
