SNOW CAMP

Mike and Will had their winter snow scout camp last Friday night.  They camped up in the Unitahs by Mirror Lake.  The leaders and boys built some igloos and caves the Saturday before and then Friday night they headed up and ate dinner, played in the snow and slept in the caves.  They had 9 boys and 4 leaders.  They said it is one of the funnest camps they do all year.  It sure makes me glad I am not a scout.  I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like to sleep outside in the snow :)

FOGGY DAY

Crazy YUCKY day out there today.  I just got back from driving Jake and some friends up to Park City and I had to take pictures along the way because I couldn't believe how CRAPPY it is out there.  It was 40 degrees and clear skies in Park City and this was what it was in the valley before and after I got back. Pictures definitely don't do it justice.

THANK YOU MARTIN LUTHER KING...

Because of you we were able to take off to St. George over the 4 day weekend with the Denning Family and get out of this cold weather and enjoy mid to high 50 temps.  A few weeks ago Lindz and I were talking about how this time last year we were getting ready to go on our Cruise :(  She said how about we go to St. George over the break.  We were all over the idea.  We left Friday morning  and came home Monday afternoon.  We stayed in Lindsay's moms condo.  We had so much fun playing games, swimming, exploring in Snow Canyon, playing in the Sand Dunes, playing frisbee and flies up, eating out, playing just dance and other games on the Wii and just basically doing nothing but enjoying time with our kids.  We just LOVE the Denning family.  Our kids have always gotten along so well and we consider them Family.  Thanks a ton Lindsay and Troy for the fun getaway.
WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

MORP

Rachel had the MORP dance last Thursday night.  She went with a boy named Robbie Neff.  I guess this dance Seniors and Juniors go together and Sophomores go with Sophomores.  Rachel had never talked to Robbie other then texts before the dance.  She said it was alot of fun.  There were 6 couples in her group. They dressed as pirates,  ate dinner a one of the boys houses, went to the dance and after the dance they did Henna tattoos and watched A Knights Tale.  It is so fun to see how much Rachel is liking High School and that she is getting to go to all the dances.  She is definitely growing up VERY FAST :(
