SANTA CLAUSE

 We went and saw Santa Clause at Trolley Square the Monday before Christmas.  Even though our kids are getting older I am so glad they will still sit on his lap. (Mostly because they know how much I love to get their picture with him :)  This Santa has to be THE BEST Santa there is.  He is SO, SO cute and I love his real beard :)

 

WINTER FORMAL

 Rachel had her Winter Formal Dance last night.  It was girls choice and she asked Jake Turville.  She said he was alot of fun to go with.  They went to Pizzaria Limone for dinner, the dance, hypnotist and crepes at Megan Hopkins after.  Rachel was one of 7 that got hypnotized.  The video footage is quite entertaining to watch.  She said it was such a weird experience being hypnotized :) Only a few more high school dances left for Rachel.  It is Crazy she is getting near the end of her High school journey :(

SADIE'S SCHOOL PERFORMANCE

 Driggs had their annual Christmas singing performance a few days ago.  It is always crazy crowded but fun to get to see each grade sing a couple of songs.  What a fun way to help people get into the Christmas spirit! Good job Sadie :)

 

 

 

It's SO EXCITING Christmas is almost here....

JAKE'S AN EAGLE

 Jake had his Eagle Court of Honor last Wednesday evening.  There were 5 boys in our ward that all received their Eagles the same night.  It was nice to do the program together.  It sure helped planning it with 5 families.  Mike has been the scout master or assistant for all these boys.  We had an Eagle come from the Hogle Zoo.  It was very cool to see it up close and hear things about the Eagle.  The guy that came and talked compared the Eagle bird to an Eagle scout.  It was very cool.  Jeff Davies the assistant scout master spoke and Mike did a 10 min slide show of all 5 boys.  It was fun to look back at their scouting journey since 3 of them are seniors this year and just got the award in time :)  We are very proud of you Jake for sticking with the scouting program and getting this award. You are now an Eagle for Life!  We love you!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Jake gave his Mentor pin to his Grandpa Robert!  He has earned the highest scouting award the Silver Beaver and taken 6 groups on the National Jamboree so Jake felt like he deserved this award.  Grandpa has always been interested in Jake and his scouting accomplishments!!!

TEMPLE SQUARE and CITY CREEK

 Last Monday night we went to dinner and walked around City Creek and Temple Square!  The lights did not disappoint :) This is always one of MY FAVORITE things we do together as a family during the Holidays!!! We are truly blessed :)
