~~PRIESTHOOD ADVANCEMENTS~~

 Jake and Will both were advanced in the priesthood last Sunday!  Jake is now a priest and Will is now a teacher.  It was such a spiritual mtg.  Mike gave the boys such great blessings!  Ahhh I am so grateful to have priesthood leaders in our home.  Jake gets to now bless the sacrament and Will gets to prepare it.  How cool is that?!? :)  LOVE OUR BOYS~~

~~OH CHRISTMAS TREE~~

Bagley's invited us to go the Saturday after Thanksgiving up to their ranch to cut down our Christmas tree.  We found a couple of trees that we liked.  It is always fun to get a fresh cut tree :) MMMM the smell of pine tree is absolutely lovely!  Jake and Rachel were busy so we just took Sadie and Will with us this year.  Thanks Bagley's for the invite:)
 

 

 

 

~~FAMILY SKI DAY~~

We took advantage of the awesome weather the day after Thanksgiving and went skiing together as a family.  It is so nice that now we all have season passes we can go up for a few hours and enjoy spending time together.  I love my family so much!!!

 

~~THANKSGIVING~~

Our Thanksgiving day began with a 3 mile run around the neighborhood with the Nelson clan.  In years past when its our turn to eat with Nelson's we have run in the Cottonwood Heights race.  This year instead of paying the $ and dealing with all the crowds we thought it would be fun to make up our own course and do it closer to home.  It ended up being a lot of fun!  I think a new tradition has been born! :)  Amy and Steve were nice enough to host our dinner this year at their house.  Melanie brought us all these fun masks to wear, we played bingo and after dinner we went and saw the movie "Hero 6".  It was a great day spending some QT with the Nelson family!
 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

~~HAPPY "14th" BIRTHDAY WILL~~

Will's birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year.  So besides having a big feast to celebrate we went to dinner the night before to Outback as a family.  It was a great weekend of eating lots of yummy food! Will is such a witty, fun, outgoing, good looking, smart, friendly and willing to try anything kid.  WE LOVE YOU WILL! :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

~~BOYS BIRTHDAY DINNER~~

 The Sunday between Jake and Will's birthdays we had the grandparents over for dinner.  We had Chinese haystacks, rolls and whipping cream cake.  I love it when we have them over.  It is fun to spend time with them! We missed Rachel :(

 

 

 

 

 

~~HAPPY "16th" BIRTHDAY JAKE~~

Jake celebrated his 16th birthday a few weeks ago.  We went to Texas Road House for dinner as a family and Mike took him to get his license on his actual birthday!   You are a fun, brave, smart, kind, good looking, daring, confident and an awesome friend! :) WE LOVE YOU JAKE! :)
