~~SCHOOL HAS BEGUN~~

 School started last Wednesday and boy were we not ready! :(  Since our summer was shortened by 2 weeks this year it flew by extra quickly!  The first day of school the Jensen's held their annual back to school breakfast.  The Junior High/High school kids went at 7:00 and the Elementary kids went at 8:00.  As always it was fun to start the school day with buddies!

~~BISHOPS OVERNIGHTER~~

The last weekend in July we had our bishops youth outing.  We met Friday morning at 6:30 am and headed to the Draper temple to do baptisms.  After the temple we met back at the ward and ate breakfast and the kids changed.  We headed to Vernal where we stayed on the lawn of the Jacobson's cabin (a family in our ward).  We hung out and played games the rest of Friday and that night we had a short program around the fire.  The bishop talked and some people shared their testimonies.  The next day we did baptisms in the Vernal temple.  It was so cool to be in such a small, old temple.  After the temple we ate breakfast and headed to Flaming Gorge where we ran the Green River.  It was such a great time and the youth all seemed to have so much fun together.  I just LOVE my calling and every chance I get to spend extra time with these kids it just helps my relationships grow even more.  Man when the bishop told me when he called me that my main job was to LOVE the young women.  He didn't tell me that it wasn't going to be hard at all and that they are seriously so awesome and definitely easy to LOVE! :)  LIFE IS GOOD!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

~~ACTIVITY DAYS ART NIGHT~~

 Our ward did a mother daughter Summer Activity Days art night for girls 8-11.  It was so fun.  Kate Mooth a friend in our ward, who graduated with an art degree came and taught us a class about mixing colors and making our own individual art piece on canvas.  It was a fun night spent with Sadie and some great friends in our ward.  Crazy to think this will be our last mother/daughter activity days night together because in January Sadie joins me in YW!!! :) WOOT, WOOT

~~LAST SUMMER CABIN TRIP~~

 The end of July Will, Sadie and I took one last trip up to the cabin (before the craziness of school and sports started) with Mel, her kids, Sairah, Brett, James and my parents for a few days.  It was a fun, relaxing getaway. We played lots of games, threw rocks in the river, road the four wheelers, and just made memories together.  I sure love my family!!! MY HAPPY PLACE :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

~~BOATING~~

 The middle of July Mike's brother John rented a boat for his birthday and invited Will and Sadie to spend the day boating with their family.  They had so much fun spending time with their cousins Parker and Abby.  Boating is one thing our kids don't get to do much of so whenever they get the chance to go they are super excited! :)  Thanks John for including Will and Sadie in your birthday adventure.   They had an awesome time! :)
