~~LABOR DAY CAMPING~~

We went camping over Labor Day weekend for the 4th year in a row with some families in our neighborhood.  We camped once again at the Black Hawk Campground at Payson Lakes.  Thanks to Steph Bruce for getting us a reservation :)  It was a lot of fun.  This year the boys slept in hammocks.  This year the crew was... 

Deans, Davies, Bruces, Chisholms, Littles, Adairs, Egans...

Such a fun 2 night/2 day get away.  WE LOVE THESE FAMILIES :)

~~JAKE'S 1ST RACE~~

 Jake ran in his first Trail Run the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.  It was the Discrete Peak Series race up at Snowbird.  It was a 9 mile course that they ran up to the tram and then up to baldy and back down.  He did an AMAZING job.  He took 13th out of 127 competitors.  His time was 1:30.  Since he placed 1st in his division he got $250 worth of prizes :)  Not bad for being the youngest competitor that ran that day.  Way to go Jake.  You are SO AWESOME!!! All his long runs he has done this summer is paying off :)

~~WILL'S FIRST TOUCHDOWN~~

A few weeks ago Will got his first touchdown :)  What made it even more EXCITING is he was playing corner so it was a pick six.  He intercepted the ball and turned and ran it.  So Exciting! :)  YAY WILL!!!

 

 

 

 

 

~~TAYLOR SWIFT~~

Sadie, Zaniya, Mike and I went and saw Taylor swift in concert on Sept. 4th at the Energy Solution Center.  Will and Sadie were given tickets for Christmas so the wait seemed like FOREVER fort the night to finally get here.  As the concert got closer Will decided to sell his ticket to Zaniya for $30 (she got a screamin deal).  It was a pretty fun night.  Taylor Swift is an AWESOME entertainer and we love her.
