GIRLS CAMP

Rachel had girls camp the last week of June. My parents and Amy both had their Sun Valley condos this week so Rachel decided to just go for one night to camp. She went the night they stayed at Trish Hill's cabin with just our ward. She said it was a lot of fun spending time with the girls in our ward. Mike offered to be the man at camp so he spent the night up there with Rachel. I am so glad that our kids don't mind having us around. Rachel loved that Mike could come up and hangout with the young women. Thanks young women leaders for making Rachel's (short) camp experience a lot of fun. You guys are the BEST and she is lucky to have all of you in her life :)

SCOUT CAMP

Will and Mike went to scout camp the 3rd week in June. They went to camp Bartlett in Idaho this year. They were gone from Monday-Saturday. Mike is still the scout master so he went for the whole week. He is seriously the best leader. He is so patient, easy going and gets along so well with the boys. They are so lucky to have he and Jeff Davies as their leaders. This is Mike and Jeff's 7th summer scout camp. Crazy!!! Will had alot of fun. It was fun for Will to be there with Mike and have his dads attention all week :) Will got rifle shooting, archery, shotgun, rowing and fishing merit badges. Thanks Mike and Jeff for being such great examples to our boys and most importantly being their FRIEND!!!

FATHER'S DAY

We are so lucky to be blessed with three great DADS in our lives:

Has taught us about love, hard work, discipline, service, etc...

All the Nelson grandkids except (Troy's daughter Cylia and Mel's kids Chloe, Ezra and Lola who are still living in Illinois...not much longer and our Illinois crew will be back livin in Utah. YAY!)

LAKE POWELL FUN

We were fortunate enough to get invited again to Lake Powell this year by the Fuhrimans. We had such a great 4 nights and 5 days with 5 families in our neighborhood. We jet skiied, water skiied, tubed, cliff jumped, played lots of games, crafts, hiked, swam, built a fire, ate lots of junk, lots of laughing and just had a great time hanging out and relaxing. Thanks Fuhrimans for the invite. We had a great time :)

(Since Rachel was the oldest one out of the kids, Mandy told her she could bring a friend. She brought Steph Nichols. Steph was so easy to have along. She became part of the Dean family)

At night we laid out mattresses along the top of the boat and slept under the stars. The Lake Powell breeze is heavenly to sleep in :)

Will fell in between the house boat and the ski boat the first day we were there. Luckily it healed pretty quick but it was a little painful wearing a life jacket at times :(
