NELSON HALLOWEEN PARTY

We had the annual Nelson Halloween Dinner at my parents house the Monday before Halloween.  It was alot of fun.  My mom made a very clever menu that we got to order from.  The kids always like this party and it is fun to see everyone dressed up.  Troy ate dinner with us but didn't want his picture taken :)  As always we missed the Chamber's :(

PUMKPIN CARVING

We picked the perfect sunny day to carve pumpkins this year.  It made it perfect for clean up. It's always nice when you can carve outside.  The kids and Mike had great fun carving their perfect pumpkin and I of course had fun taking pictures once again :)

CALLED TO SERVE...

Our nephew Sage left on October 30th for his mission to HONDORUS.  He had such a great farewell talk.  It was one of those from the heart, great talks that bring tears to your eyes.  He spoke of trials and things that have happened in his life and how important his decision to serve a mission is.  He also talked about how friends are such a huge influence in your life especially when you are a teenager and trying to make the right decisions and do the right things.  We all felt the spirit and are so happy for Sage and his decision to serve a mission.  You are gonna ROCK IT in HONDURUS Elder Nelson.  We love you!!! :)

MONSTER MASH

Rachel had the Monster Mash dance on Saturday, Oct 26th.  It was girls choice so she asked Oscar Hoggan.  She said it was such a fun dance and she had a great time hanging out with some of the sophomore boys and getting to know them better.  They went to the court yard in Fashion Place Mall for dinner, dance, Haunted House, movie at Grace Huxtables.  Another dance was a success :)

FALL LEAVES

Ruthie called me today and asked if I wanted to drive up to Brighton ski resort and have lunch and look at the leaves.  Although most of the leaves have changed and were already starting to fall off the trees, we still got to see some pretty ones.  It was fun to eat up at The Store Cafe at Brighton.  Thanks Ruthie for the fun afternoon.  I love you! xoxo
