~~EPIC DANCE CONVENTION~~

 Sadie went to the Epic Dance Convention last Friday night with her Jr. Dance Company up in Layton. They spent the night at a hotel by the Davis Conference Center.  They danced for 5 hrs Friday night and 5 hrs on Saturday.   They had a showcase for parents to come see what they had learned Saturday afternoon.  It was fun to watch and see Sadie doing something she absolutely loves! :)  We love our little dancer!!

 

 

~~UEA WEEKEND~~

 We had a fun fall break from school over UEA weekend.  Sadie went to the zoo one day with her buddy Graice and her family, 5 Deans went to Lagoon Frightmares and Rachel spent the weekend in St. George and Las Vegas with some of her Utah State buddies.  Fun was had by all and the weather was absolutely delightful! :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

~~HOWARD R DRIGGS APEX FUN RUN~~

 The Driggs 5th graders won a challenge at the school so their reward was to go early one morning and help advertise the Apex Fun Run that their school was apart of on the KSL channel 5 morning show.  ( It is such a great fundraising activity.  Instead of the kids walking around selling chocolates or wrapping paper :),  they had to get pledges for how much they could run in a 30 min time. I loved the idea! :)The whole 5th grade was invited to attend this early morning news show, but since it was at 5:30 am :), not everyone took advantage.  You can bet Sadie and her buddies were all over it...news coverage come on of course they were there. :)  I went over with Sadie and a few of her friends and their moms.  It was a lot of fun and the girls did get some TV time.

~~CONFERENCE CANYON COOKOUT~~

 We had our annual Fall conference breakfast cookout in between conference sessions on Sunday up Millcreek canyon.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day for a canyon getaway.  Mel and Brad were in Logan and Jed and Mandy were in California so they weren't able to come (we missed them), but it was fun spending time with the family that could make it! :)  We sure LOVE the Nelson crew!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

~~PUMPKIN PATCH~~

 We went last Saturday and got our pumpkins while Rachel was home for the weekend.  It was fun to go to a pumpkin patch this year and find the perfect pumpkin.  We Loved spending time with our kids on a Saturday afternoon. :)  HALLOWEEN is definitely in the air!!
