MOTHER'S DAY

 I had a great Mother's Day this year.  Mike and the kids made me breakfast (hashbrowns, eggs, sausage, bacon and juice) and gave me some of the things I love...Diet coke, Chocolate covered pretzels, Orange sticks, Chocolate covered strawberries and the best of all was a card which each of them wrote how much they loved and appreciated me.  It made my day :)  After church we went and ate dinner with the Dean's and then had dessert with the Nelson's.  It was a fun day of celebrating with our families.  We are so lucky to have such great women in our lives that have influenced us and made us who we are.  We LOVE our moms and are so grateful to have them in our lives ;)

 

 

 

CANYON RIM PARK

 We had a picnic at Canyon Rim Park on Saturday May 4th with the Nelson Clan while Mel and Brad were in town.  They came to interview for a JOB.  It's crazy that Brad is almost done with Medical School :)  They interviewed in Logan, Salt Lake and Boise.  We can't wait to find out where they will be moving next July.  All we know is it will be a heck of a lot closer then Illinois so we are pretty excited about that :)  We had great fun eating, playing at the park, kickball and celebrating Josh's birthday.  It is always a good time when we get together with the Nelson's... our kids LOVE to spend time with their cousins :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jr. PROM

 Rachel had Jr. Prom last Saturday night.  She went with Taylor Ellis a boy in our ward.  Rachel has liked Taylor since the 9th grade so she was pretty EXCITED to go to this dance.  She had such a great time.  They ate dinner at Benihana's, went to the dance and after to Lowe's (a trampoline place in Provo).  They had a huge group so it was fun being with a bunch of her friends.  Taylor, Ben and Spencer all picked up Rachel, Ruth and Taylor D. at our house.  Of course we had to get a ton of pictures.  The all looked GORGEOUS.

TWENTY (20) YEARS BABY...

 Mike and I celebrated our "20" year anniversary on Friday, April 19th.  Where the heck has the time gone.  We were just 21 when we got married so we have almost been together as long as we were single...CRAZY! We spent the night up in Park City at The Shadow Ridge Resort.  We ate dinner at Baja Cantina and Saturday went to Will's soccer game, a movie (Oblivion) and Costco :) together.  I love Mike more and more every day.  I am so lucky to have him as my husband and what a great dad he is to our kids.  He truly is my BFF.  He still makes me laugh.  He has the wittiest personality and says some of the funniest things.  I love you Babe!  Bring on the next 20 years...

LIBBY GARDNER

 Rachel had her last Concert Choir performance at Libby Gardner last Monday night.  My mom, Mike, the kids and I all went and saw her perform.  It was a great performance.  Rachel said it was kind of sad being their last performance.  It only means her Junior year is quickly coming to a close :(

 

 

 

REFFING

Will reffed for the 1st time today.  It is weird to think Rachel and Jake both reffed for at least 1 year...Will is following in their footsteps :) He said it wasn't too bad.  He is excited to get his paycheck the middle of June!  I think he is a pretty cute ref :)
