~SADIE'S LAST DANCE COMPETITION~

Sadie had her last dance competition the first weekend of May.  It was fun watching her perform and learn even more!  She is a beautiful dancer.  WE LOVE YOU Sadie! :)

~~ELDER FARNSWORTH~~

Mike and I went to Elder Farnsworth's homecoming the first part of May.  He served in Rachel's mission and was also a spanish speaking missionary.  One of our friends Jenn Sorensen that lives next  door to him invited us to come.  It was so fun to meet him and hear of his experiences he had on his mission.  He had such great things to say about Rachel.  Mike and I look like midgets standing next to him (he is 6'9") haha.  So fun to be with someone that was just with Rachel! :)

~~DRAPER TEMPLE~~

Mike and I are both on the Ward Council and the beginning of April we went to a mtg with the Stake presidency and they gave all the Ward Council members a challenge of finding 1 name to take to the temple and do all the ordinances for that person.  Mike's dad Roger came over one night and helped us find the names (which was so fun to have him show us something he is an expert on :).  The challenge was only 1 name.  I came across a woman on my moms side that needed all her work done.  Yay!  When I went to grab her name and say I would do all the ordinances I noticed this particular lady had 6 other siblings that also needed their work done.  Well how could I just choose one of them to be done and not the rest?! I mean really :).  So I took all 7 and printed them off.  Mike found 2 so with having 9 names to do baptisms for we decided to involve our kids and have them help participate in the baptism ordinance.  We went one rainy Saturday to the Draper temple and did the baptisms together.  It was so cool to be in the temple with 3 of our kids.  It is such a place of peace and love for me!  I sure love the times I get to go there!  YAY for this great challenge and YAY for spending time with our kids!! :)

~~TIME WITH MY DAD~~

As the Young Women's president in my ward I try to go and support as many extra curricular activities that I can for my darling Young Women.  Well 4 of my laurels were in the spring school musical and I wanted to go.   Mike couldn't go and Sadie had dance so I asked Ruthie if she would come with me.  She said sure!  Well that night I was waiting for her to pick me up and who pulls in the driveway but my dad.  He said Mom forgot she is hosting book club tonight so she gave me two choices... I either host book club or come with you? :)  Haha.  I think he made the best choice!  It was so fun sitting with him and talking at intermission.  He is just the sweetest!  It is times like this that mean the most!  The little one on one we get with those we love is priceless!!!  Thanks dad for coming with me!  I LOVE YOU! xoxo
