Our 2nd ADVENTURE in the trailer was to Lava Hot Springs over the 4th of July weekend with 5 families in our ward. When we got the trailer I started asking around some friends in our ward if they had plans for the fourth of July weekend. Lots of them already had plans but the 5 of us didn't so we decided to take a trip up to Lava Hot Springs. It is such a great place for big groups. We will definately have to go again and have more families come with us. It was a nice little getaway.

We spent most of the day at the Pool and Waterslide Park.(Jake and Will are waiting to go off the 2nd platform but they never did the top one because it was too high.)
After the pool we spent a few hours floating down the river.(Minus a few scrapes and bruises the kids had a great time.)

We ended the weekend with fireworks when we got home.

HOw fun is that!?! Matt is so jealous of you pop up-seriously green eyed. We went to Bear Lake and all he could talk about was your sweet deal and how we could make it work. :) It did look like fun- you guys really know how to party.
Em that trip looked awesome. Seriously, is Illinois to far for you to drive your trailer??
Tell me Lava is not the coolest place. Nate and I used to go and just sit and watch the people fall off that little waterfall on the river. We also camped once right by the train track. That night of sleep sucked big time! Lava is a good little vacation spot. We have had some good times there, glad you guys have too!
