FATHERS DAY

For Father's day this year the kids and I made Mike a card, bought him 2 different flavors of Mountain Dew (his favorite drink if you couldn't tell by the shirt he is wearing :) and made him breakfast (scones, eggs and sausage).
Mike and his kids :)
We had dinner with the Dean's and dessert with the Nelson's to help celebrate the day.  We are so lucky to have 3 great men in our lives that continually teach us with their examples of love and service!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

When we got home Mike and the kids played basketball and I took pictures.  One thing I have always LOVED about Mike is he has always been a hands on dad.  He plays with the kids and LOVES to spend time with them (sometimes I think he is a big kid himself in a grown up body :). Our kids are SUPER lucky to have you as their dad and I am MORE lucky to have you as my wife! We love you!

ST GEORGE

To help kick off our summer Will, Sadie and I took a trip to St. George with some friends in our ward.  Holly Little's parents have a home there and when she found out they were going to Europe for the month of June she decided it would be fun to take Kristine and I and (some) of our kids down for 4 nights and 5 days.  The kids had great fun swimming, playing games and watching movies.  The moms had great fun laying out, watching movies and just relaxing.
Thanks Holly for the GREAT time!

NEW CAR

Since Rachel just got her license and now is legal to drive, we decided it was time to get a third car.  Mike's dad Roger has been talking about getting a new jeep so he offered to let us buy his old "2001" Jeep Grand Cherokee.  The nice thing is he has taken such great care of it (and it has low miles).  It will be so nice for Rachel to have a car to help run errands and drive kids places when I am not around.  WELCOME to the family little Jeep Cherokee.  We will try to keep you looking as nice as Grandpa Roger did :)

SWEET "16"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
 ***RACHEL ELIZABETH DEAN***
It is so CRAZY to think we now have a "16" year old.  Time has flown by since Rachel came into our lives.  I so remember when we brought her home from the hospital we were so clueless and had no idea how to take care of a baby.  Boy did we learn fast.  Rachel was a perfect first child because she literally slept the first 3 weeks of her life.  I mean she would only wake to eat and that was it.  She slept through the night the first day we brought her home.  She is turning into such a beautiful, talented and spiritual young woman.  I admire her drive and determination.  If she wants something she goes for it.  She is such a good friend and never talks bad about anyone.  She is a good listener and confides in me, which I love.  She is one of  my best friends and I am so grateful we are so close.  She is very low drama and is super easy going and mellow. She is a true tomboy.  She loves to play soccer and is very adventurous. She said today at 12:01 am she got about 6 texts and 1 was from a girl and the rest from boys.  She does have some great girl friends though that seem to be just like her.  We are so excited for what the future holds for you Rachel.  Stay strong and continue to let your testimony grow.  You will always be blessed if you keep close to your heavenly father and stay strong in the gospel. I just know good things are in store for you! ***WE LOVE YOU***

We had the grandparents over last Sunday to help celebrate!

Rachel, Jake and Will played the piano.

Birthday Eve the family went to Spaghetti Factory.

Her BIRTHDAY (June 6th) started at 1:00 am when her friends:
Ellie, Steph and Emily came and kidnapped her.  They went to Ellies and ate and hung out all night.
At 10:00 Mike and I took her to get her Drivers License.
She is now official and I am going to LOVE having her run errands for me :)

She took Ellie, Emily and Steph to get pedicures, lunch at Cafe Rio and then swimming at the Deans. (She had invited Annie but she couldn't come because she was working and then leaving town.)

Now if only time could slow down a little...
that would be GREAT!

SILHOUETTE DANCE CONCERT

Sadie had her Silhouette dance concert last Saturday night.  It was so fun to see how much she has learned and improved this year.  She loves to dance and perform.  She has 2 great teachers (Janae and Martha).  Mike, Rachel, Jake, Will and I came as well as Grandpa Roger, Grandma Judy, Grandpa Robert and Grandma Ruthie.  Sadie has a very supportive family that loves to watch her dance.
GREAT JOB SADIE :)

I took a few pictures during the dress rehearsal.  They are kind of blurry but I figure they are better than nothing :)

Practicing the bow :)
The night of the performance waiting in the hall to go out on stage.
WE LOVE YOU SADIE!
