Homecoming anyone?

So the other night at around 11:15 pm I was sitting on the floor half naked feeding the dog, when there was a huge pound on the front door! When I got to the door I could see someone jumping into a car and speeding off. Hmmm. I opened the door and noticed some strange rocks on my porch and others leading down the walkway:

Upon further investigation I noticed there was writing on the main rock that said: Homecoming Would Rock w/ You

My immediate thought was they now do Homecoming in the 7th grade and this is for Rachel, then I thought HELL NO, she's 12 years old, she's not going on a date!

Then I thought, well maybe Emily is turning into one of those teachers out there who likes the younger generation. Remember Debra Lafave, Pamela Rogers or the more infamous Mary Kay Letourneau???? Yikes!

Anyway, it ended up being a wrong address, he was suppose to be on the next street over.

Funny....

Sorry Nick...

Preschool has begun...

Well Sadie is currently at her 3rd day of preschool while I am blogging this. I joked that I would be kicking up my heels and just so excited to have some time to myself. Don't get me wrong I do like my alone time but, it has hit me that she is our last and she will be gone more and more and it kind of makes me sad. She truly is my buddy...she always wants to sit by me and do what I do and most of the time it drives me crazy but, to think how quickly she will be gone ALL DAY makes me sad. Thank heavens we got our little puppy DIESEL to keep me company. She is so excited to be going to Miss Denise's this year with lots of her friends in the ward.
She gets to sit by her friend Grace.
These are all the cute girls in our ward going there (minus Ashley). I love you Sadie and hope you have a great year in preschool.

Mount Olympus ...Labor Day Weekend

Dad and Jake climbed Mt Olympus over labor day weekend. They talked Uncle Steve, Adam, Uncle Brett, Alex and Grandpa Robert into going with them. It is Jake and Dads 3rd time climbing it together. Jake loves, loves to hike he is a little mountain lion. He has no fear and seems to never wear out. This is a tradition that they are hoping to keep going for a while. Rachel climbed it last year over Labor Day with her friend Sydney and her dad. Next year will probably be Will's first time to climb. Someday I will get there but probably not until everyone can go (Sadie)...at least until than I have some sort of an excuse. Much needed rest. Grandpa Robert made it to the saddle but his knees are bad and he decided to turn back. Quite impressive he could make it that far.
On the top!!! I am told it is a very grueling straight up hill climb.
